TV Land to Air ET's Special 'Betty White, A Life Well Lived'

ET will pay tribute to Betty White before her 100th Birthday. TV Land will air Jan. 15 ET Presents: Betty White, a Life Well Lived In celebration of White’s iconic legacy.

White died on New Year’s Eve, six days after suffering a stroke. She was 99 years of age and would have celebrated her 100th birthday on Jan. 17. ET Presents: Betty White, a Life Well Lived a special on her incredible life and legacy — airs Saturday, Jan. 15, at 9 a.m. ET. Encore presentations will air Sunday, January 16, at 5 pm ET. ET, and on her birthday Monday, January 17, at 7 p.m. ET. ET. The Golden Girls Cleveland is hotAll weekend. 

Mary Hart will be interviewed during the news special, White was humbled when she was told that she was the most extraordinary woman in Hollywood.

She replied, “No, I’m not the luckiest old wide in the business.”

ET recently spoke with White’s agent, Jeff Witjas, who talked about what he feels her legacy is.

He said, “Her legacy would have been bringing people together because young people, old people, and all races loved Betty White.” You can watch her funny things on the TV. She didn’t take her self too seriously, which is probably something many of us should strive for. It’s important to have humor. She was also serious at times. Although she had thoughts about the world around her, she kept them to herself. She brought joy and laughter to many people.
